Williams halt tests following Nakajima shunt

Williams stopped Nico Rosberg's test programme on Friday after his Japanese team-mate Kazuki Nakajima crashed heavily in the team's 2008 car.

Nakajima was unhurt when his Toyota-powered FW30 speared at high speed into the barriers at turn one of the Circuit de Catalunya, the venue for a three day weekend test outside Barcelona.

A Williams spokesman told the news agency Reuters that Rosberg's car was also sidelined while the team investigated the technical fault that caused Nakajima to crash.

"It was related to a front wing mounting issue which will be fixed and the car will be running again tomorrow," he said.
