Will Fisichella rock 2008 with Force India F1 Team

Giancarlo Fisichella has high hopes for the upcoming season when he will drive the freshly-launched Force India car. The Italian believes the car will be a good step forward from what the new owners inherited from Spyker.

"Since I first drove the car we've made significant steps forward, especially in the set-up area," Fisichella told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "The Force India car has potential and there will be new aerodynamics already at the Barcelona test."

"We have an adequate budget and the right structure and the right people," he added. "The 2009 car is already in development and I want to grow with this team and carry on racing in F1 for a few more years. The goal is to improve the car and gradually move up from the back rows where we'll obviously start the season."
