Ferrari on a run in Bahrain

On the second day of testing Kimi Raikkonen was once again the fastest driver at the Bahrain International circuit. The Formula One World Champion completed almost 80 laps in Bahrain, and was almost two seconds faster than his team-mate and the Toyota drivers.

In Bahrain testing continued for the Toyota and Ferrari Formula 1 team. Both teams continued testing with two drivers. At Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen was joined by Luca Badoer. At Toyota Jarno Trulli took over testing duties from Kamui Kobayashi.

At Toyota things didn't go perfect as the team suffered from a technical problem in the car. "It was a difficult day because we had a problem on the car so unfortunately I spent some time in the garage while this was fixed but that is part of testing," Trulli explained. "Obviously it wasn't ideal but we have more days here where we will work to better understand the balance and behaviour of the car. At the moment we are still in the first stages of our preparation
