Gilchrist Retires




The Worlds Best wicketkeeper and the player with the most number of dismissals left the Cricketing world in Shock. Gilchrist announced his retirement today (Jan 26th) from the One Day International and the test Cricket. He said in an press meet that he will retire from International Cricket after the 4th test at Adelaide against India. In response to this announcement, Cricket Australia was in all praise for Gilchrist for his contribution to Australian and the world Cricket. They said that his profile and statistics will speak of himself. Many other Legends and cricket players around the world expressed their shock on the announcement. They also told that he will remain as a role model for all the youngsters around the world playing cricket. What a champion cricketer he was. A great and a truly respected Cricketer the cricketing world has got. He is also a person who is known for his good sportsmanship. He now joins the other recent Australian Cricketers (McGrath, Warne, Lamger) in the retirement List.
