How to remove Windows Genuine Advantage Notification in XP

If you are using XP and if you have installed a Third Party OS, then a Windows Genuine Advantage Notification will POP out during the system startup. This may be very irritating to many users. Here are some simple methods to remove it.

Type1:

Step1: Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32

Step2: Rename the following files whichever is present and then give an extension of your choice other than *.dll

• wlnotify.dll
• WGA

Type2:

Step1: Go to Run option in the Start Menu in the desktop

Step2: Type regedit.exe and press OK

Step3: Registry Editor window will open and in that go to the following folder structure

IPL Fixture for 2012.

IPL will kick off with Chennai-Mumbai clash in the opener in Chennai. The two time IPL champion side (Chennai) under MSD will take on the Champions of Champions (Mumbai) in the opener at the Chekpauk stadium in Chennai. One thing to be noticed here is that, Chennai did not lose a single match at their home ground in the last season. Also the Mumbai Indians won their Champions League trophy at this same venue. Hope it will be a cracker of a match to kick off IPL.

Tamilnadu has a big chance to make to Ranji Finals

After a splendid performance by the batsmen, TN bowlers especially Captain L.Balaji led from the front to give Tamilnadu a edge to enter Finals of Ranji. This will be a great achievement for these young and experienced lads. End of Gate for Dada

The gate has been shutdown for Dada as the other Franchisees did not accept the Kochi's plan to pick up DADA at his base price $400,000. What a sad ending for Dada's Career. The only way for Dada to enter IPL is that some player should get injured and some franchisee can pick Dada as replacement. What an insult to this great man of Indian Cricket.

Rajnikanth New Venture: Rana

Rajinikanth is going to be back with his next film Rana. It officially confirmed now that director K.S Ravi Kumar will be Rajini for this film.

Superstar Rajinikanth is doing a triple role in this film after 18 long years. His last film with triple role is Moondru Mugam, which was released in the year 1982.  The film is also a tri-lingual releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The film will start rolling the camera in the month of March. Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone is sharing the screen space with Rajini in this film. The film is jointly produced by Ocher studios and Eros International. Anushka Shetty playing an important role.

AR Rahman is scoring the music for this film.  The technical aspects & special effects are handled by Soundarya Rajinikanth and Charles Darby of Eyeqube Studios. Anthony is incharge of editing, while Ratnavelu is working as cinematographer. Rajeevan is taking caring of art direction.

The Hangman's Daughter

There is an almost guilty pleasure in reading The Hangman's Daughter. The writing - and translation - is wonderful; the story glides along, quietly reeling you in until it's almost impossible to put the book down; and the ending is really fascinating. I especially appreciated the short author's note on the history behind the book and its setting.

Taking place in 1660 in Germany (those of you familiar with the alternative fiction world from Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay will immediately be comfortable with this setting as it's the same era as that game), the book follows the story of a murderer or murderers hunting some of the town's children. The protagonists are the hangman (who does not believe the most "convenient" suspect is actually guilty), the hangman's daughter (an herbalist who is toying with becoming a midwife), and a young doctor who is growing increasingly frustrated with the state of medicine (or lack thereof) practiced during this time period. While the doctor may be a somewhat familiar archetype, particularly if you've read Ariana Franklin's series starting with Mistress of the Art of Death, I think it's reasonable to assume that during this time period, a number of these types of young professionals helped to propel the Renaissance into the Enlightenment; thus, I don't think the doctor character detracts in any way.

Throughout the story, there are a number of mysteries that pose interweaving threads. It's such a pleasure to read as Potzsch brings these threads together, then back away from each other again, then together again, over and over. All the while, one is thinking, "Well, this obviously means that X and Y are related" and then 20 pages later, "Oh, I see, X and Y could never be related...no, no...it must be that X is the cause of W and so that means that...." The result: a book that, by page 90 or so, is near impossible to set down.
 

Who is killing the children? Why? And why just some children and not others? Why couldn't the "convenient" suspect have done it? When will folks realize that some of the clues clearly contradict others - or maybe they do realize it and the "truth" is a bit more scary to them? And why does the hangman understand intuitively but yet is struggling to put clue 1 with clue 2 with clue 3 (and so on) together to build a better picture of who might be doing this? Okay, and who put clue 4 there? That throws off the whole puzzle the reader was building up until that point.

There's murder, witchcraft, mercantile intrigue, political intrigue, and just plain ignorance and superstition all working together to hide facts and confuse clues. Just brilliant.

  The Hangman's Daughter is one of the best historical fiction / mystery / suspense books of 2010. I was really pleased to see that this is a series; I'm really looking forward to seeing the characters develop. I'm a bit leery to draw the comparison as inevitably someone will vehemently disagree, but in terms of historical mystery, Pozch has created a setting and story just as enjoyable as Larsson's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. Frankly, it's enough to make one want to learn German just to read the others in the series; I may check out Amazon's sister in the UK to see if they are already translated.

Eden Garden will not host India England match in World Cup

A sad news for all the fans in India. The match between India and England was supposed to be hosted by Eden Gardens on Feb 27th 2011. But there was a twist today in the news. ICC has now confirmed that the India England match will not happen in Eden Gardens. The stadium which is known to have hosted some great and exciting matches in the past is under shame because of irresponsible officials of Cricket Association of Bengal. The reason behind this decision is the unpreparedness of the ground which is undergoing renovation. What are these officials doing. Though they can't promote in a good way, which can't they atleast host a match that too a world cup match. The match which was cancelled will most probably be hosted in Bangalore. Hope they prepare the stadium for the rest of the matches, or it is the biggest embarassment for Indian Cricket.

For Pregnant Womens

Mothers-to-be who eat nuts every day may increase their child's risk of developing asthma by 50%, claim Dutch researchers. Nearly 4,000 pregnant women completed diet questionnaires, and their children were monitored for eight years. The results, published in a US journal, suggest that potent allergens found in some nuts might prime the foetus to be allergy-prone.
Other studies, however, have been less conclusive about nuts and asthma risk. The factors during pregnancy, or early life, that cause some children to develop asthma while others are unaffacted are still unclear. Asthma runs in families, suggesting a strong hereditary link, but the environment still plays a significant role.

However, comparing women who ate nuts daily during pregnancy to those who ate them "rarely" consistently pointed to an increased risk, with between a 40% and 60% rise in the chances of wheeze, asthma symptoms in general, and use of steroids. Dr Saskia Willers, from the University of Utrecht, who led the study, said: "While it is too early to make recommendations of avoidance, it is important for pregnant women to eat healthily, and what is true for many foods is that too much is never good." The study examined the effect of eating different types of nuts, including peanuts, which botanically are not a true nut. Peanuts have been closely associated with allergy.

"Peanut is a potent allergen, and peanut allergy is associated with anaphylactic shock and is less likely to be outgrown than other allergies." The research also found lower asthma rates in the children of mothers who ate more fruit during pregnancy. However, researchers suggested that other aspects of a healthier lifestyle followed by these women might be responsible. The study was published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, published by the American Thoracic Society. Professor John Heffner, a past president of the society, said there was not enough evidence that the nut diet had caused the problem, and he called for more studies. "These findings emphasise the critical importance of additional investigations into the environmental exposures for both mother and child." Leanne Male, from Asthma UK, also said that further studies would be needed before firm dietary advice could be given to pregnant women, as other research had thrown up contradictory results. She said: 'Some studies say that the vitamin E and other health properties nuts contain, especially when consumed as part of a healthy Mediterranean-style diet, can be protective against asthma."
